Our first day with the advisory panel is next week… and there is still so much to do! We’ve invited people from healthcare and educational organisations to come to the Open University and share their thoughts on WiSP. We’re providing a presentation on the project, there’s a talk from Prof Srikant Sarangi, lunch J and discussion sessions where we hope to get feedback from participants on our ideas so far.

Wondering if it’ll all work… have we explained everything clearly enough? Will they all turn up? Are there enough handouts? But we have cake… and fruit… and biscuits… so everyone will start off in good spirits at least….

End of the meeting

It all went smoothly. Despite last-minute illness our end we were all present, nearly everyone we invited turned up, and they had lots to say. We made copious notes on the small group discussions, noted everyone’s questions in the presentation, and collected written feedback at the end of the day so I feel confident we have enough to act on.

This is the first stage in an ongoing dialogue with the panel….. next meeting is a virtual one in Feb 2017 but we’ll have online discussions before then.
